Internationally-acclaimed composer and pianist Bright Sheng (Y.K.Pao Distinguished Visiting Professor of Cultural Studies and HKUST Jockey Club Institute for Advanced Study Visiting Professor), presents a new approach to understanding music and music composition over the course of three lectures.

He will be joined by Professor Matthew Tommasini, Composer-in-Residence/Visiting Associate Professor, HUMA; Professor Ilari Kaila, Composer-in-Residence/Lecturer, HUMA; and Professor Isaac D. Droscha, Lecturer, HUMA and Guest Artists: Dan Zhu, violin and Trey Lee李垂誼, Cello
